This update tweeks the disqus box and adds the white background and the rounded corners to the box. The ask form widened to fill the whole box. For current Futurum-user add the following code to Customize → Advanced→ Add Custom CSS:
#disqus_thread {padding: 10px 18px;clear: both; width: 712px; background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0.90); border-radius: 3px;-moz-border-radius: 3px;-webkit-border-radius: 3px;} #ask_form {width: 712px;}
For new Futurum-users: The update is already implemented. No need to do anything.
frostedwindows asked: Hi!
I was trying to enable Disqus comments on my page but for some reason, it doesn't look like this:
<img src="http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l6f4p56Lh01qcxhou.png"></img>
I do not have the option of putting in my Disqus shortname under Appearance.
Any help would be great.
Thanks :)
Hi, that’s weird!
In your source code the disqus code is there (<meta name=”text:Disqus Shortname” content=”” />), so codewise there’s no problem… The only solution I can come up with is to reset defaults in Appearance. If that doesn’t help, try installing a different theme and then reinstalling Futurum. Maybe that will help. Please contact me if not!
snivy asked: Hi. I love your theme, and I would just like to know how to make it so the time/notes/tags/permalink area are all aligned to the right of the postbox. I just think that would be more aesthetically pleasing, is all.
Hi, sorry for the late response: I’m working on it, I’ll get back to you soon!
beingeclectic asked: Hi there, I just installed your Lightie theme and I'm loving it! I just want to ask you if it is possible to eliminate or reduce to the minimum the frame on the photos? I love the way it looks when I post a bunch of pictures and there's no frame on them. Thanks again, and a big hello from Mexico.
Hi, add this to Custom CSS (in Advanced): .post img, .text img {max-width: 500px; padding: 0; border: 1px solid {color:Separator};}
.post img:hover {max-width: 500px; padding:0; border:0; background-color: {color:Separator}; }
If you want to remove the border, just change “1” to “0”.
ryanmichaelcheung asked: Is it possible to change the carousel to your own personal posts rather than the likes of others?
Sorry for the very late response! I’m afraid that’s not possible at the moment.
dylanpk asked: How can I make my background image in the lightie futurum theme fixed so that it stays in the same place as you scroll down and doesn't move with the page as you scroll?
Hi, add the following code to the “Add custom CSS” in Advanced: body { background-attachment:fixed;}
Theme no. 500? In the world of emoticons I am colon capital D!
